
LONDON (Reuters) – Armenia stated on Wednesday that there was a threat that lethal clashes with Azerbaijan may escalate into warfare, calling on massive powers to pay extra consideration to a grave state of affairs it stated may result in one other main conflcit within the former Soviet Union.
Armenia and Azerbaijan, who’ve been combating for many years over Nagorno-Karabakh, each accused one another of beginning a sequence of border clashes which started alongside their border from late on Sept. 12.
In an interview with Reuters, Armenian Deputy Overseas Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan stated round 50 Armenian troopers had been killed to date and three civilians wounded, although he cautioned that each figures would rise considerably.
