Damson Idris (R) may as nicely change his title. The British actor nonetheless is not well-known sufficient to get into Hollywood events.
Damson showed up at a HBO occasion following the Emmy Awards on Monday in Los Angeles. However he was turned away on the door as a result of nobody acknowledged him.
The “Snowfall” actor wrote on his Instagram Story, “Simply confirmed as much as a HBO occasion and was turned away for not being on the record lol.”
This is not the primary time Damson has been embarrassed for not being as well-known as his final title.
In December 2021, performing legend Denzel Washington instructed an interviewer he did not know who Damson was.
When requested about Damson — whom he’s usually in comparison with — Washington stated, “Who’re you speaking about. I do not know who that’s.”
The reporter was stunned by his assertion. “You gotta know who he’s,” she insisted.

Washington ought to have identified him. Damson auditioned to play Washington’s son within the 2016 film Fences (he did not get the half).
Damson performs ruggedly good-looking drug supplier Franklin Saint on Snowfall, which debuted on FX in 2017.
The sequence was so standard that it was renewed for a full season in 2018 after its preliminary 10-episode first season.
FX renewed the sequence for a fourth season in August 2019, which was initially scheduled to premiere in 2020, however filming was briefly suspended because of the COVID pandemic.
In April 2022, FX renewed the sequence for a sixth and remaining season.
